The Boat
Slam Dance is a Kencraft 215CC. Built by Kencraft Manufacturing in Wilson, NC, where they've been building boats for 30 years. The boat has been rigged with the fly and light tackle angler in mind. I installed pop-up cleats and made sure the deck area is clear and free of tangles. With 90 gallons of fuel, we have plenty of range and the wide hull is dry, smooth and easy on the passengers.
The Captain
Capt. Steve Moore has been USCG licenced captain since 1998. He is certified in CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross. Capt. Steve grew-up in Wilbraham, MA and attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He spent most of his childhood on the beaches of Cape Cod in Orleans, or on the coast of southern Maine where his family spent their summers. Capt. Steve has been fishing since he was a toddler and his addiction has grown after a brief respite to chase girls in high school and college.
